Alex began his career in Commercial Real Estate in 2008, and joined Avison Young in 2010. Over his career, Alex has specialized in financial analysis and underwriting for investment sales, combining his strong valuation skills with his ability to create customized solutions. His valuation experience includes major office towers, retail shopping centres, industrial properties and development land.
Alex joined Avison Young after gaining several years of experience in the appraisal industry where he focused on valuation assignments for major institutional investors, pension funds, and REITs. He has extensive experience in Argus DCF and Dyna.
Alex graduated at the top of his class in 2006 from UBC with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Real Estate and Finance. He then completed his Post Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation in 2010.
Alex currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia (REIBC).
