Mark is married with four (4) children and resides in West Vancouver. Mark’s career in Commercial Real Estate began at the age of 19. He has a strong work ethic and is creative in accomplishing his client’s objectives.
Mark started his career in Commercial Real Estate in Vancouver in 1981 with Royal Lepage and quickly emerged as one of the top producers. In 1994, Mark was one of the founding partners that established Avison Young in Vancouver and subsequently helped grow the company into a National Organization.
Mark established himself early in his career as one of Vancouver’s premier office leasing brokers having represented many BC based company tenants as well as some of the top Landlord’s in the city.
Since 2001, Mark has moved his core focus to Investment Sales and has completed a large volume of transactions on a diverse range of real estate assets across western Canada representing both Buyers and Sellers. His strong leasing background provides an important skill set to excel in the Investment side.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Mark graduated from Magee Secondary and then proceeded to complete the four (4) year Urban Land Economics Diploma at the University of British Columbia (REIBC).
In addition to the 8.0 million square feet of lease transactions brokered throughout Greater Vancouver and North America, Mark has established himself in the Investment field.
Since 2001, Mark has brokered transactions on Commercial Investment properties valued in excess of $1.0 Billion which covers a broad range of asset types including Office, Industrial, Shopping Centres, Storage Facilities, Parkades, Apartment Buildings and Land.
Mark has consistently been one of the top three (3) National producers for Avison Young since 1997.
