Matthew started in the commercial real estate industry in 1997 and joined Avison Young in 1998. Through his carrier at Avison Young he has extensive experience in investment sales, tenant representation and lease listing work on behalf of landlords. Matthew has a strong analytical and sales background. Matthew has gained a reputation for professionalism, ethical behavior, reliability, creativity and achieving client’s goals.
Matthew is married with a young family and resides in Downtown Vancouver.
Matthew has been involved in the commercial real estate industry for the past ten years. His initial focus was on leasing and has brokered numerous significant transactions on behalf of tenants and landlords. Matthew has moved his core focus to the investment side of the business and has completed a large volume of transactions on a diverse range of real estate assets across western Canada representing both Buyers and Sellers.
Matthew has an extensive background in real estate financial analysis, including valuation, lease analysis and financial modeling.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Simon Fraser University – Finance Concentration (1997)
• Argus Valuation-DCF, Real Estate related software for detailed and complex financial analysis
• Completed the Real Estate Trading Services Licensing Course- Sauder School of Business.
